MERC Education Career Fair

Our office urges students and alumni to take advantage of the Massachusetts Educational Recruitment Consortium (MERC), an off-campuse event convening a nationwide selection of public and private school system representatives with licensed and license-eligible jobseekers from a range of educational fields. This event is usually held during public school spring vacation week. E-mail the CSO for registration details.

Career Preparation Programs

Employer Information Sessions

Throughout the year, our office sponsors Employer Information Sessions (EIS) where we invite representatives from a range of fields, on an individual basis, to come to campus and present career path options offered by their organizations to students and alumni in group format. Panels

Our office brings together a range of experts in panel format to offer students and alumni a variety of perspectives instrumental in career planning.

Primers

During the fall semester, our office holds field-oriented sessions that allow students the freedom to explore, without judgment, industries or professions they are considering. Each section covers basics to success, position selection considerations, career trajectories, salary ranges, and top employers.
