Quantitative Policy Analysis in Education

Education Strand Illustrative Courses

QPAE students must complete a sequence of at least four courses focusing on educational institutions, educational policy, and the social context of education. This course sequence should be tailored to reflect the student's general course of study. The sequence must be approved by the student's advisor (who must be a QPAE core faculty member) and by the QPAE Concentration Chair.

The following list of education-focused courses provides examples, and not an exhaustive list, of courses that may be appropriate for the education strand. Some of these courses may not be pertinent for some students, and some students may identify other courses that are not on this list, but that are appropriate for the education strand. If you identify additional courses you would like to consider for this strand, discuss the course offerings with your advisor.
