Alumni Council

The Alumni Council is the governing body of the HGSE Alumni Association.

Council members work to strengthen the relationship between HGSE and its alumni; support and help to develop events that provide alumni the opportunity to foster personal and professional relationships with HGSE; serve as both representatives of the larger alumni body and as sources of information for the Office of Alumni Relations; and work with various administrative offices at HGSE on special projects.

About the Award

The HGSE Alumni Council first established the Alumni Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education in 1985 in order to recognize the significance of service to education by the many alumni of the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
