Information for Gulf Coast-area School of Education Students

On September 2, Acting Dean Kathleen McCartney announced that HGSE would be assisting Gulf Coast-area students of education unable to pursue their fall studies due to the hurricane. Noting that several universities have lost their campuses as a result of the storm, McCartney announced that HGSE will be able to offer 25 students an opportunity to study in Cambridge, tuition free, in the fall as special status students.

If you are a student of education who will be unable to return to your school this fall due to Hurricane Katrina and are interested in participating in this program, please email Jim Stiles, associate dean for degree programs.

This page will be updated as more information about this initiative becomes available. Please check back often.
